Note: Wait was born in the underground of Rome. The letter M stands for METRO. I wanted to immortalize this woman’s stillness with the movement of Rome. Rome with its subways has a very slow life, but it is vibrant and alive at the same time. I have lived in Rome for a while and what I have tried to capture in this photo are all the aspects I see around the city: a tranquillity and slowness that collides in something as strong and vibrant as the red colour in this photo.
